Just like all other cricketers in the world, India’s Dinesh Karthik is currently enjoying an unforeseen break from the game in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, which has brought several countries to a practical standstill.

Karthik was set to lead the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise in the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) but the BCCI decided to postpone the tournament from March 29 to April 15 last week due to COVID-19 outbreak, which has already claimed more than 10,000 lives and infected over 245,000 people.

This rescheduling has also forced Karthik to sit at home but the KKR skipper seems to have found a way to stay in connect with the game.

On Saturday (March 21), the official handle of Knight Riders posted a little clip on Twitter in which Karthik can be seen doing shadow practice.

“As you can see, this is all I have been doing for the last two-three days. I really miss my sport, but I’m trying to do everything to stay connected to the sport, and trying to everything that is part of the sport as well,” he said in the video.

Karthik also shared some guidelines with the fans as a precaution to protect themselves from Coronavirus.
