Since IPL 2020 is right around the corner, players of every IPL franchise are getting together and starting with their practice sessions to get in the groove for the upcoming tournament. Chennai Super Kings is one of them as they recently regrouped and have started with their practice sessions.

MS Dhoni, who hasn’t played for India since their semifinal exit from the World Cup 2019, was spotted in the team bus and also taking guard in the nets at M.A Chidambaram Stadium which left the Chennai fans in awe.

Thus, Dhoni who is the most loved cricketer in Chennai, when he came on the ground on the second day, one fan went on to breach the security walls to meet the wicket-keeper batsman. MSD who saw him coming shook hands with him before the security people came there.

The Chennai-based franchise will kick off their IPL 2020 campaign with a match against defending champions Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on 29 March.
