Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has unveiled their new logo ahead of the 13th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).

Before releasing the new visual identity, RCB created hype by removing their profile and cover photos from the social media accounts, including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
The club's prominent stars such as captain Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal had also posted queries on the changes in social profiles.
In the end, the mystery got solved on Friday (February 14) as the Bangalore-based franchise revealed the redesigned logo which features a lion.

The club said the new logo design "embodies the bold and fearless attitude" of the side.
Amid all the reactions over the new logo, it was India pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s comment that hogged the limelight.
Bumrah, who plays for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, drew parallels between RCB’s new logo and his bowling action while posting his comment.
“Cool logo. Looks like my bowling action as well,” Bumrah’s reply read.
