Picking his IPL Fantasy XI, Sourav Ganguly, the former India skipper and current BCCI president, looked past the great MS Dhoni and instead selected young talent Rishabh Pant as the team's wicketkeeper-batsman.
Ganguly also chose himself as the leader of this side, having done that successfully for India in the early part of this century.

"It’s purely for fun, to entertain all. Pant is a young wicketkeeper-batsman. I don’t want any debate for it," the 47-year-old was quoted as saying by Extra Time.
Going by the allowance of only four overseas players in an IPL XI, Ganguly further picked opener David Warner to possibly bat alongside Rohit Sharma and all-rounders Andre Russell and Marcus Stoinis to glint the lengthy batting order also featuring India skipper Virat Kohli, uncapped Riyan Parag and Ravindra Jadeja besides himself and Pant.
Surprisingly there was no specialist spinner in Ganguly's team but he did select two quality limited-overs pacers in Jofra Archer and Jasprit Bumrah.
