Australian limited overs captain Aaron Finch was sold to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for INR 4.4 Crore in the IPL 2020 auction. As soon as Bangalore got him, cricket.com.au posted a hilarious throwback video where Australia's Test captain Tim Paine had joked about Finch's transfer from one IPL team to another.

In the video, Paine can also be heard saying how Finch hasn't played for RCB till now, and Virat Kohli probably doesn't like him. In reply, Finch said nobody likes him that's why the franchises keep releasing him.

Finch has played for Rajasthan Royals (2010), Delhi Capitals (2011-12), Pune Warriors India (2013), SunRisers Hyderabad (2014), Mumbai Indians (2015), Gujarat Lions (2016-17) and Kings XI Punjab (2018). He will now feature in the RCB squad for the next season.

“You’ve nearly played for every team now,” Paine said. “Except Bangalore,” Finch replied. “Except Bangalore?” Paine questioned, and added, "Haven't you got there? doesn't like you."

RCB has responded to the banterous video from 2018 and they wrote Kohli proved he likes Finch by buying him in the auction. "I think we just proved how much @imVkohli likes you, @AaronFinch5 ????."
