Jammu and Kashmir's coach-cum-mentor Irfan Pathan posted a motivational post for his brother Yusuf Pathan after he went unsold in the IPL 2020 auction on Thursday in Kolkata.

Yusuf found no-buyer under the capped all-rounder category in the recently concluded auction. The 37-year-old, who played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last two seasons, had set his base price at INR 1 crore.

His younger brother, Irfan took Twitter and shared a message which read, "Small hiccups doesn't define your career, you have been outstanding throughout. A real match-winner. Love you always Lala," tweeted Irfan with a picture attached of both the brothers from World T20 2007 win.

The senior Pathan is known for his power-hitting but age caught up on the veteran cricketer in the last few years. He used to be a destructive batsman and a valuable asset in the team for Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders.
