IPL: Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals engage in a healthy Twitter banter

The banter was for Ben Stokes and Yuzvendra Chahal's pose on the field.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises always look to pull each other's leg on social media. They don't miss out on the opportunity to poke fun, especially on Twitter. The most recent banter was between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

There was a picture of Yuzvendra Chahal which had gone viral on social media. In that picture, Chahal was spotted chilling near the boundary lines. He was not part of the match, so the leg-spinner was sitting calmly near the ropes with drinks next to him.

The picture was a popular meme a few months back and fans have loved that carefree avatar of Chahal.

A similar picture of England all-rounder Ben Stokes was recently doing rounds in which he can be seen in a similar pose, holding a banana peel.

RCB posted both pictures and wrote, "Who did it better?". Rajasthan saw their player in the post and didn't hold back. They replied: “You’re not really our banana skin team… ???????? #HallaBol."

Stokes is a key part of the Rajasthan franchise. Although he still hasn't played as per his potential for RR. But no doubt, the franchise has full faith in him and that's why they went on to retain him for the upcoming 2020 season as well.
