IPL 2020: Dhawal Kulkarni traded by Rajasthan Royals to Mumbai Indians

Kulkarni has previously represented the franchise from 2008 to 2013.

Dhawal Kulkarni will play for Mumbai Indians again in IPL 2020, after he was traded by Rajasthan Royals. The Mumbai veteran seamer began his journey in the IPL with his home franchise in 2008 and represented them until 2013. He also played for Gujarat Lions other than Rajasthan Royals.

Kulkarni played 33 matches for Mumbai Indians and is ninth on the list of MI’s leading wicket-takers with 36 wickets. Overall, he is 10 short of completing 100 IPL matches and is 14 short from capturing 100 IPL wickets.

Mumbai Indians have also acquired Trent Boult and Sherfane Rutherford from Delhi Capitals for the 2020 season. The four-time champion side had released Mayank Markand in a trade-off with Delhi Capitals, and are expected to announce their final list of retained players on Friday (November 15).
