Three-time champions and finalists of IPL 2019, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has hinted at releasing five of their players ahead of the auction which is set to be held in Kolkata on December 19. The IPL trading window ends today and some of the teams have been very active in trading and selling off their players.

Big names like Ajinkya Rahane, Ravichandran Ashwin and Trent Boult will be turning out for new teams after they were traded off by their respective teams. CSK have so far not announced anything, nor have they traded any players. Hence, the suspense remains on what kind of combination will they retain for the next season.

Various reports have suggested that Kedar Jadhav, Ambati Rayudu, Murali Vijay and Sam Billings are all set to be released by the Chennai based franchise, but we will have to wait and see who are the 'final five' to face the prospect of another auction.

MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina are expected to continue as captain and vice-captain of the franchise for the 2020 season.
