David Hussey and Kyle Mills have joined the Kolkata Knight Riders' coaching staff for the next year's edition of the Indian Premier League.

While former Australia batsman Hussey has been roped in as the chief mentor, Mills, the ex-New Zealand speedster, will be the bowling coach for the popular franchise.

"It’s great to welcome David Hussey and Kyle Mills to the Knight Riders Family," Venky Mysore, the CEO and MD of the Knight Riders, was quoted as saying in a media release.

"They bring a wealth of experience as professionals, and are terrific individuals. We are confident that their contribution as part of the think tank of KKR, and to the KKR Academy, will be invaluable."

KKR has already named former New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum as the team's head coach for IPL 2020.
