IPL 2019: Fans bow down to Shane Watson in respect after finding out he played final in pain

Shane Watson has earned respect after his Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate Harbhajan Singh revealed how he battled in the middle despite a bleeding knee.

Watson scored highest runs for CSK, 80, in the final but he couldn't win the match for them as Mumbai Indians clinched a 1-run victory.

Harbhajan posted a picture of Watson on his Instagram where he told fans about his injury. “Can you guys see the blood on his knee…he got 6 stitches after the game..got injured while diving but continue to bat without telling anyone. That’s our @srwatson33 Almost pulled it off for us last night,” Harbhajan’s Instagram story read.

Since then, fans are saluting the Aussie for his effort in high pain. Watson was eventually run-out in the last over which was the major turning point in the match.
