The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 was full of drama and the final didn't fall short of expectations. A crunch game with a last-ball finish had many moments from the match to talk about. Talking about the most highlighted one, it was MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper's run-out. 

Dhoni had tried to steal a run on an overthrow, but not in his wildest dreams he would have thought of getting dismissed like this on the night which matters the most of those 50 days of the tournament. It turned out to be a big mistake for him to go for an extra run.

The decision went against him when it was referred to the third umpire. Dhoni was short of the crease and he was given out. However, there was an angle which created confusion. It was an illusion that made fans believe their man has got inside the crease, but he wasn't, revealed the different angle. 

Fans couldn't digest the fact that Dhoni was walking back so early in an important chase that too because of run-out. The last time Dhoni was run-out in IPL was in 2017 against Delhi Capitals. Clearly, it wasn't a common sight for the fans.

A young fan was in tears after 'Thala' walked back. The video went viral on social media where the fan was hiding his face and crying after Dhoni was given out. He was seen consoled by his mother and they were interacting in Tamil.
