Many didn't give Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) a chance when they needed to defend 36 in the last three overs and two well set Kings XI Punjab (KXIP batsmen, Nicholas Pooran and David Miller in the middle.
The situation was a bit tricky for them with two out of those three overs were supposed to be bowled by Umesh Yadav, who has had a disastrous game against Chennai Super Kings. With 26 needed off last over, Umesh conceded 24 and gave RCB a scare.
It was a tough task for Umesh but he surprised everyone with an outstanding show. Conceding only 15 of the last two overs, his contribution was game-changing. At one stage of the match, Pooran's clean striking was threatening for Bangalore. It felt like the chase will be completed well within the 20 overs.
The official Twitter account of RCB posted a post lauding the pacer. However, they did so by degrading another Indian pacer and ex-RCB bowler Ashoke Dinda. "Dinda academy? What's that? #PlayBold #RCBvKXIP #VivoIPL2019," their post read with Umesh's stats from the match attached in it.

Twitterati was not in support of the tweet which looked very bad and disrespectful to Dinda. RCB took down the tweet immediately and came up with another post which read, "As some of you pointed out, the previous version of this tweet was in bad taste. However, for all of you who have relentlessly trolled this lad, he said #challengeAccepted and bowled his heart out! 4-0-36-3, 15 off his last two overs & 2 wickets in those! #PlayBold #RCBvKXIP."
