The 42nd match of the Indian Premier League 2019 will see Royal Challengers Bangalore take on the Kings XI Punjab at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB are still on the last spot in the points table, despite their latest flurry of wins, while KXIP is stuck at the fifth spot with five wins.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore are on a roll with wins over CSK and KKR at home. Their flurry of six losses came to an end against Kings XI Punjab in Mohali and now they look to continue their winning ways against the same opposition. Their last win was a one-run heart-stopper against Chennai and that has done a lot of good to their morale, which they want to take further in the tournament.
Kings XI Punjab has been the most inconsistent teams in the IPL 2019 with five wins and as many losses in 10 matches. They never have had a dominating winning run, but have mixed results in the tournament, survived enough to not have a result like RCB. They have a plethora of former RCB players and players who come from Karnataka, their knowledge of the ground must prove to be beneficial to the visiting team here.
The match is a must-win for both teams and KXIP and RCB will be looking for yet another entertaining encounter for their fans.
