All-rounder Stuart Binny made the most of his first opportunity in the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against King XI Punjab (KXIP) on Tuesday, 16th April.

The 32nd match of IPL 2019 was completely in favor of the hosts at the I.S. Bindra Stadium in Mohali, as Royals lost a bunch of wickets while chasing 182, but it was Binny who gave a little breakthrough to the visitors with his scintillating hitting towards the end here.

The right-hander, who usually gets trolled on social media for his on-field failure, came up with a good performance for RR on Tuesday, slammed a blistering 11-ball 33, but his rapid knock couldn't get Royals past the line, as the tourists suffered a 12 runs defeat at the hands of KXIP in Mohali.

The all-rounder has been out of the international scene since 2016 due to his series of inconsistent performances and has now been counted as one of the forgotten all-rounders in the Indian cricket.

Even Binny failed to impress in the domestic cricket as well, as the all-rounder was also dropped by the Karnataka selection committee after two poor outings, as he has not played a single professional game since 20 November 2018, and even didn’t get a single IPL 2019 match before last Mohali match.

However, the all-rounder made a sounding return to the cricket field at a strike rate of 300, though that came in losing cause, and his wife Mayanti Langer proud with his splendid innings against KXIP and took to Instagram handle to share a special post for her husband.

In her Instagram story, she wrote they always kept the faith and indicated that it paid off, adding: “When people forget you, choose your moments to remind them.”
