Loss after loss, it has become a routine for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) now. The franchise it seems just doesn't want to get up and walk, forget about running. They have played a very low level of cricket with the available resources.
On Monday, RCB were crushed by Mumbai Indians (MI) at Wankhede. It was a tight game with MI needing 22 off the last two overs. Then came a shocking decision to go with Pawan Negi in the second-last over while Hardik Pandya, the murderer of spin bowling, was in the middle. As expected, Pandya hit him for a couple of sixes and fours and finished the game before the last over.
The replay showed bowling Negi in the 19th over was Ashish Nehra's plan. He asked skipper Virat Kohli to go with the left-arm spinner.
