Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli hasn't had his best time in the last couple of weeks. His team failed badly wherever they went and even home ground at Bangalore couldn't get them their first victory of the season.

Against Mumbai Indians, RCB lost the game on the last ball even though AB de Villiers, their most reliable batsman after Virat, was there till the end but couldn't take them over the line. However, the scene was different on Saturday when De Villiers stood in the middle and also won the game for his side against Kings XI Punjab.

It wasn't easy for Kohli to go through a hard time alone. He revealed it was his wife Anushka Sharma who accompanied him and also helped to stay positive all the time.

After the win against KXIP, Virat had a chat with De Villiers, where he said, "I think over the last year or so, the best thing to have happened to me is my marriage. It's changed my whole world. I have the most beautiful wife, the most beautiful person.

"That has been the most strong factor in my life to change the way I was. Before, I was too intense in life. She [Anushka Sharma] always keeps me motivated, positive and spend quality time with each other and get away from the game.

"I couldn't have been luckier to have someone like that who understands my positions being in that situation herself. I look forward to spending time with her and that's how I switch off."

Kohli has always given a share of credit to Anushka in his success since he has met her.

The RCB captain also spoke about the cutest thing which is happening this IPL season. It's about Kohli and the kids of De Villiers. "Being ur neighbor this time in the hotel back home, it's been the most lovely experience & thing we look most forward to was his kids waking up in the morning & knocking our (Virat & Anushka's) door & saying good morning to us every morning which is quite special," said Virat.
