IPL 2019: Match 17, RCB v KKR – KKR choose to bowl first

IPL 2019: Match 17, RCB v KKR – KKR choose to bowl first

RCB are yet to win a match in the IPL 2019.

AB de Villiers needs to support Kohli with the bat and in the field for RCB to succeed | IANSThe Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders will face off in the 17th match of the Indian Premier League 2019 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The match will be a chance for RCB to register their first win in the tournament and for KKR to continue their good work so far.

Kolkata team lost their previous match to DC in the Super Over and though they forced a tie in the match, Rabada proved to be too much for them in the Super Over. KKR was hampered a bit in the balance of the team with Sunil Narine out of the team due to an injury. Their opening combination in the last match failed miserably.

Local boy Robin Uthappa will be expected to contribute heavily for KKR | IANSFor KKR, Nitish Rana, Robin Uthappa, and M Prasidh Krishna have been consistent performers and will be responsible for keeping KKR at the top half of the table.

RCB is just failing to get their team combination correct and has lost four matches, two of the losses were miserable. Virat Kohli is just not able to take the initiative with the bat as well and their foreign players are not performing to their best. Their Indian batting lineup is practically non-existent and thought they have got a reinforcement in form of Stoinis, but team combination is a still a mystery for them.

The match will see the Bengaluru team give it their all to register a maiden win this season, and the KKR team trying their best not to let it happen.
