One of the most successful IPL franchise and defending champions Chennai Super Kings have signed New Zealand fast bowler Scott Kuggeleijn as a replacement for the injured Lungi Ngidi.
Fans slammed CSK for signing Scott Kuggeleijn, who was accused of rape in 2015 but subsequently cleared of all charges by a jury in 2017.
More than CSK, it was Harbhajan Singh, who was trolled on social media. The reason was his comments on Hardik Pandya's sexist statements on show Koffee with Karan, which got Pandya suspended from the Indian team.
"I will not travel with these two guys on the bus if my daughter or my wife are traveling on the team bus with me. How would they feel? You are looking at women in only one angle and that is not right," Harbhajan had told India Today in wake of the controversy.
"We don't talk about all this even with our friends and they were talking on public television. Now people might think was Harbhajan Singh like this, was Anil Kumble like this and was Sachin Tendulkar..." he added.
Now his comments on Pandya came back to haunt him, as Twitterati made fun on Harbhajan, who might have to share the CSK dressing room with Scott Kuggeleijn.
