Hardik Pandya, who is known to entertain the crowd with his dazzling strokeplay, was in full flow during Mumbai Indians’ second match of the IPL 2019 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday (March 28).
Pandya played a blistering cameo of 14-ball 32* (2 fours and 3 sixes) at the fag end of the innings that helped MI to pile up a highly competitive total of 187/8 on the board.
The highlight of Hardik’s jaw-dropping knock was his gigantic six off Mohammed Siraj in the final over of MI’s innings. Siraj bowled a full-length delivery to which Pandya went deep inside the crease and used his wrists to send it out of the ground over deep mid-wicket.
The MI all-rounder admired the shot before he flaunted his muscles to indicate the power generated from the bottom hand.

Coming to the match, Mumbai Indians rode on Jasprit Bumrah’s (3 for 20) outstanding death-overs bowling to register a thrilling 6-run victory. For RCB, AB de Villiers was the stand-out performer with the bat, scoring a valiant 41-ball 70 including 4 boundaries and 6 sixes.
