Mumbai Indians’ fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah found himself on the ground, grimacing with pain after bowling the last ball of Delhi Capitals’ innings on Sunday, March 24.

Bumrah had a bad outing for his standards as he gave away 40 runs in his 4 overs and picked one wicket of Akshar Patel. But Rishabh Pant got stuck into him and took him apart during the death overs. The nation as all had their hearts in their mouth as Bumrah clutched his left shoulder and physio attended to him.

Bumrah didn’t come out to bat for Mumbai Indians as their innings wrapped for 176 and lost the game by 37 runs. "He (Bumrah) looks fine. Last night after the match he was seen moving his hand without any stress," a source was quoted by PTI.

The Mumbai Indians physiotherapist Nitin Patel was still assessing him. Bumrah has "recovered well", the Mumbai Indians team management had said last night.

Mumbai Indians will next play Royal Challengers Bangalore in the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on March 28.
