Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has started the training ahead of the first encounter in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019.
The run-machine kicked-off his practice session with RCB on Monday. Kohli, in the video he shared on Instagram, was seen playing the spinners. He tried various shots and was also trying to collect runs from behind the stumps.
Virat is, obviously, one of the best batters in the world currently. No matter pace or spin, he knows how to play them and their mind. He was practicing stepping out of the crease as well in the net session.
The first game for RCB isn't going to be easy. They can't breathe with ease as the Virat-led side will face MS Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in the opening game. The defending champions are nearly unbeatable at their den and Kohli will surely keep that in his mind.
The start of a new session will definitely make franchises take some time before getting settled. It's a long tournament so teams could afford to start steadily and then pace up later.
"Great to be back at the Chinnaswamy for another season with @royalchallengersbangalore. ???? Can’t wait to be on the field! ???????? #PlayBold #IPL2019," his post read on Instagram.
