Shikhar Dhawan is currently part of the Indian team which is taking on Australia in a series of five one-day internationals. Team India has won the first two matches in Hyderabad and Nagpur and will play the third match at Ranchi on Friday.
However, Dhawan’s bat has been silent for the most time, scoring 0 and 21 in the two ODIs thus far. On the other hand, preparations for the upcoming Indian Premier League season 12 has begun in full swing and all the eight franchises have started training camps for the available players.
Delhi Capitals took to Twitter on Thursday to share a video of Shikhar Dhawan - where the left-hander answered a series of questions part of the rapid fire. There were questions like favorite places to hang out in Delhi to his favorite bowler of all time and Dhawan answered each of them confidently.
On the question of his all-time favorite bowler, Dhawan named the former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar as his choice. The Delhi cricketer said, “I like Shoaib Akhtar a lot.” Shoaib Akhtar played for Pakistan from 1996-2011 and was the first bowler to break the 100mph speed barrier during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa, against England. Dhawan was also asked about the bowler he feared the most to which he replied that it depended on which bowler was troubling him on that given day.
