IPL 2019: Finch and Maxwell pull out of IPL Auction; Yuvraj Singh sets base price at 1 crore

1003 players have registered themselves for the IPL Auction for the 2019 season.

IPL Auction will be hosted in Jaipur on December 18

Australian T20I captain Aaron Finch and allrounder Glenn Maxwell have made themselves unavailable for IPL 2019, due to a packed international schedule with Australia.

No Indian has set a maximum base price of Rs. 2 crore in the upcoming auction. Jaydev Unadkat who was bought for Rs. 11.5 crore by Rajasthan Royals in 2018, will enter the auction at a base price of Rs. 1.5 crore as the most expensive Indian cricketer.

Mohammad Shami and Akshar Patel are priced at a base price of Rs. 1 crore. Yuvraj Singh will also be available at a base price of Rs. 1 crore this year after a disappointing season with Kings XI Punjab

England all-rounder, Sam Curran and veteran Sri Lankan speedster Lasith Malinga have set a base price of Rs. 2 crore for themselves. Brendon McCullum, D'Arcy Short, Chris Woakes, Angelo Mathews and Corey Anderson have also listed themselves at a base price of Rs. 2 crore, while Dale Steyn has put his base price at Rs. 1.5 crore.

In total, 1003 players have registered themselves for the IPL auction which will take place in Jaipur on December 18. IPL franchises will be asked to send a shortlist of players they want to be seen in the auction pool, following which a final list will be prepared by the IPL.
