Virat Kohli smashed Kagiso Rabada for five consecutive fours during the IPL 2026 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Thursday (April 30).
Facing Rabada in the second over of RCB’s innings, Kohli unleashed a flurry of boundaries. The first delivery was a short one and the star batter pulled it over mid-wicket. He followed it with a lofted drive over mid-off, and a square drive past backward point.
Kohli’s last two boundaries were equally aesthetic. He glided the fourth delivery towards the left side of the fielder at square third man, and crunched a length delivery between cover point and extra cover for the fifth four.
Rabada conceded a single on the final delivery as Kohli pushed it back to the bowler to acquire 21 runs from the over.
Despite the initial onslaught, Kagiso Rabada made a decisive comeback in his next over, dismissing Virat Kohli with a quick bouncer.
Kohli attempted a pull but skied the ball to Rashid Khan at mid-wicket. He was dismissed for 28 runs off 13 balls, an innings that included five fours and one six.
