Rajasthan Royals (RR) teenage prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi slammed a sensational 36-ball century during the IPL 2026 match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday (April 25).
Benefiting from a dropped catch by Aniket Verma, the 15-year-old put RR in a commanding position after SRH captain Pat Cummins won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Sooryavanshi launched a brutal assault on Sunrisers bowlers right from the word go. He smashed his nemesis from the last encounter against SRH, Praful Hinge, for four straight sixes in the very first over.
Despite losing his opening partner Yashasvi Jaiswal (10) early, Sooryavanshi continued carnage and notched up his half-century in just 15 balls for the third time this season. The southpaw stitched together a brilliant 112-run partnership with Dhruv Jurel, who scored 51 off 38 balls before perishing.
While Jurel was dismissed in the 13th over, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi went to complete his second IPL century in the following over by hammering Sakib Hussain for 6, 4 and 6.
After reaching the three-figure mark, the left-hander removed his helmet, took his gloves off and kept everything down. He then made the heart symbol, and followed it with a salute towards the dugout to celebrate the milestone.
In his attempt to find another boundary, Sooryavanshi fell LBW to Sakib in the same over for 103 off 37 balls. His whirlwind knock was studded with 5 fours and 12 sixes. Thanks to his innings, the Royals racked up a massive 228/7 in 20 overs.
Cricket fraternity was left in awe after watching another clinical batting display from Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in the ongoing IPL.
