A very interesting video is doing rounds on social media, as a Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fan was seen doing something in the stands to get Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) batter Shivam Dube out when the two sides met in IPL 2026 on April 18.
A Sunrisers Hyderabad fan clutching a lemon appeared to perform a ritual that seemed to work in the team's favor. The incident occurred in the 17th over of the Chennai Super Kings' innings, with Shivam Dube at the crease and CSK on 154/7 while chasing 194. With Dube's reputation for turning games around, SRH were keen for his wicket.
In a viral video, a fan in the stands is seen holding a lemon, turning it a few times while muttering things, and then indicating towards Dube, who was about to get a delivery from Sakib Hussain. The left-hander was bowled just moments after making the motion.
The crowd erupted in jubilation and so did the SRH fan who performed the ritual.

He was disappointed as he walked back after scoring 21 off 16 balls. CSK only managed 184/8 in the chase of the 195-run target and lost the game by 10 runs. Ayush Mhatre (30), Matthew Short (34), and Sarfaraz Khan (25) were the other main scorers for CSK.
Earlier, SRH had posted 194/9 with Abhishek Sharma and Heinrich Klaasen both scoring 59 runs each.
