RCB’s Phil Salt and Jitesh Sharma pulled off brilliant catches to remove DC batters Karun Nair and Sameer Rizvi in Match 26 of the IPL 2026 season at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Saturday (April 18).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed both wickets in the third over of DC’s chase. While Nair was dismissed on the second delivery with Salt sprinting to his left at deep backward point to pluck a stunner, Rizvi got out on the fifth ball with Jitesh diving full length to his right to a complete a one-handed grab behind the stumps.

RCB stalwart Virat Kohli was pumped up after both wickets and celebrated in his inimitable style. The video of the dismissals and Kohli’s celebration went viral on the internet.

Coming to the match, RCB posted 175/8 on the board after being asked to bat first. Phil Salt was the top scorer with 63 off 38 balls, including 4 fours and 3 sixes.

Axar Patel (2/18), Lungi Ngidi (2/39), and Kuldeep Yadav (2/32) were the pick of the DC bowlers, returning with two scalps each.
