Punjab Kings (PBKS) co-owner Preity Zinta has warmly responded to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's viral "Well done Zinta" post on X, thanking him for his support and inviting him to attend a match in the ongoing IPL 2026 season.
This exchange follows Salman's congratulatory message after PBKS' victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 11.
In reply to Salman’s tweet, Preity credited the captain, coach and team for the win, while playfully adding "and some to you too".
“Thank you Salman. All credit to Captain, Coach & the team and some to you too. Love u loads ! Now pls come for a game,” Preity wrote in the comments section.
Fans have dubbed Salman Khan's new post for PBKS the "sequel" to his famous 2014 tweet, "Zinta's team won kya?", which has been a long-running internet meme.
After years of the meme being used during Punjab’s struggles, the new post marked a shift as the team is currently performing exceptionally well, holding the second spot on the IPL 2026 points table with three wins from four matches.
Under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, the franchise finished as runners-up in 2025 and will look to go one step further this season.
