Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Hardik Pandya recently made headlines for purchasing a Ferrari motor vehicle costing INR 12 crores. And now Pandya has made another interesting revelation about his love for music and cars.
The 32-year-old, who is slated to captain the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season, revealed that he listens to the devotional hymn 'Hanuman Chalisa' even in his Ferrari. At an occasion, Pandya remarked that listening to the song gave him "positive energy," which elicited a raucous reaction from the audience.
"Now it's so fascinating that I have a Ferrari and I still listen to the Hanuman Chalisa inside the car. So it's cool. God has been kind. I think everyone will agree with me as well that no song can give you as much positive energy as the Hanuman Chalisa. I'm very clear with that,” Pandya stated at an MI fan event.
Hardik Pandya was seen in his new Ferrari 12Cilindri after helping India win the T20 World Cup 2026. He was photographed in the car alongside girlfriend Mahieka Sharma.
Pandya remarked on Sunday that he started his career as a "pure batter" and ascribed his success to hard work and a determination to go above and beyond.
“I was just a pure batter who batted all his 17-19 years of young age... I only knew one thing: if you told people to run 12 rounds, I ran 15 rounds. So, from there, out of the blue, someone saw me, and one year later I played in the Ranji Trophy," Pandya said.
