Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has begun its preparation for the IPL 2026 season as the majority of their Indian players have reached Chennai for the pre-season camp, including legend MS Dhoni.
Even at the age of 44, Dhoni's remarkable fitness and everlasting passion continue to inspire the younger generation. Dhoni, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, and several other players are working hard in the nets every day as CSK begins their training camp ahead of the upcoming season.
Fans were in stitches when a humorous video from CSK's practice session recently went viral on social media.
In the video, Sarfaraz Khan, a recent addition to CSK, unintentionally held the football in hand during a game of football tennis while Dhoni and a few other players were exercising.
Seeing the gaffe, Dhoni responded with a sarcastic slow clap, prompting others to join in and share a quick laugh at Sarfaraz's mistake.

Sarfaraz went unsold during the 2024 and 2025 IPL auctions. However, CSK picked him up at his base price of Rs 75 lakh during the 2026 mini-auction.
The five-time winners began training at their high-performance center in Chennai, with several Indian players arriving early. They included Ayush Mhatre, Mukesh Choudhary, Rahul Chahar, Urvil Patel, Ramakrishna Ghosh, and Sarfaraz Khan.
