On Day 3 of the India v South Africa Test in Guwahati, Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj added comedy to an otherwise stressful contest with a hilarious joke involving the Spidercam.
In a video clip that has gone viral, Siraj hooked his cap on the moving Spidercam, thus turning it into a funny cap stand.
The move instantly drew the attention of spectators, but what made the moment even more entertaining was how the camera operator reacted. Rather than becoming irritated, the videographer responded cheerfully, mirroring Siraj's enjoyment with warm involvement and good humor.
The hat hung over the lens, eliciting applause from the audience as the camera operator lowered the gadget nearer him, presumably encouraging the pacer to remove it.
Siraj ignored the nudge at first, waiting for the next delivery to finish before walking over and removing the cap. The moment elicited amusement in the stands and online.

Apart from this moment, India didn’t have a good day in the field, as they were bundled out for 201 runs, giving South Africa a lead of 288 runs. Washington Sundar (48) and Kuldeep Yadav’s (19) 72-run partnership for the 8th wicket helped India recover from 122/7.
Marco Jansen took 6/48, and Simon Harmer took three wickets. Instead of enforcing the follow-on, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma decided to bat again. South Africa ended day three on 26/0 with a lead of 314 runs.
