Virat Kohli didn’t have a very good Test match in Pune where New Zealand defeated India by 113 runs to not only win the match but also go up 2-0 in the three-Test series. This is the first time New Zealand has won a Test series in India and the first Test series India has lost at home since 2012.
Before India's second innings against New Zealand in the second Test, Kohli's scores in the series read 0, 70 and 1.
However, when India needed him the most to bring in all his experience and help India conquer the steep target of 359 runs on a rank turner in Pune, Kohli was out LBW to Mitchell Santner as India folded for 245 in the second do.
Kohli was furious following his dismissal after being trapped in front of the wicket by Mitchell Santner.
Kohli took the DRS as the umpire called out. The ball tracker revealed that it was clipping the outer section of the leg stump, which astonished Kohli. Kohli did not move at first but eventually left grudgingly. When he left the field, he banged his bat on a box to vent his frustration.

New Zealand's triumph also places them among a small handful of visiting sides to have won a Test series in India.
Historically, only five teams have accomplished this feat: England (five times, last in 2012/13), the West Indies (five times, last in 1983/84), Australia (four times, last in 2004/05), Pakistan (1986/87), and South Africa (1999/00). With this series victory, New Zealand becomes the latest team to enter this exclusive club.
India will now have to work hard in the third Test in Mumbai to win the match and keep getting themselves from getting whitewashed at home.
