Fast bowler Jofra Archer was caught taking a nap midway through the third ODI between India and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Wednesday (February 12).
The incident unfolded during the 25th over of England’s innings when Harshit Rana was bowling to Liam Livingstone. Rana dismissed the visiting skipper Jos Buttler (6) on the first delivery of his over and then bowled five dot balls against Livingstone.
With the tourists reeling at 154/5 in the chase of 357, the cameras panned towards the England dugout, where Archer was seen sleeping peacefully in one corner, much to the amusement of the fans and commentators.

Notably, Jofra Archer is not playing the ongoing third ODI at Ahmedabad. The right-arm quick didn’t feature in the second ODI at Cuttack as well. He participated in the series opener at Nagpur and returned with the figures of 1/39 from his seven overs.
England are on the verge of a 0-3 whitewash in the ODI series against India. Earlier in the tour, the Three Lions conceded the five-match T20I series 1-4 to the hosts.
