England great Kevin Pietersen and India star Virat Kohli were seen conversing about something during the second IND v ENG ODI in Cuttack on Sunday. Kohli, who had missed the 1st ODI due to a knee injury, has something to talk about with the ex-England captain near the boundary.
The former England skipper, who is now in India for broadcasting duties for the two sides' limited-overs series, had been seen with Kohli several times during the first two ODI matches. In Nagpur, an ailing Kohli showed Pietersen his injured knee, which kept him out of the opening series match.
He later had a great exchange that made both of them laugh. On Sunday, while fielding on the boundary, Kohli was seen giggling and joking with Pietersen on the sidelines.
Kohli and Pietersen's equation has prompted the internet to speculate on their recent excessive conversations. Some believe Kohli wants to brush up on his expertise and curiosity about property prices in London, where he has largely lived since the birth of his son Akaay, if not earlier.
While commentating during the 2nd ODI, as visuals of Kohli and Pietersen chatting emerged, former India opener Aakash Chopra remarked on air: "Well, he lives abroad most of the time now, so he could well be asking him about real estate in London and some good localities there".
Later, when he asked Pietersen the same topic and welcomed him to the Hindi commentary, the England great broke his silence on the subject.
"Never assume things. I can use an analogy about assumptions but won't here," Pietersen said.
Pietersen, in fact, hinted that his conversations with Kohli revolved around some golf. When another former India cricketer, Suresh Raina suspected the same, Pietersen said he wasn't 'far off the mark'.
"You're not far wrong there, you know. I have told him [Kohli, you've got to start playing golf. What a great game it is,” Pietersen told Raina.

Virat Kohli only made 5 runs in 8 balls on his return to India's ODI team after almost a year as India defeated England by 4 wickets in Cuttack to claim the series 2-0. The final ODI between the two sides will be played on February 12 in Ahmedabad.
