India's pace spearhead, Jasprit Bumrah, delivered a phenomenal six-wicket haul performance in the ongoing second Test against England on Saturday, February 3, in Vishakhapatnam.

After the end of the play on Day 2, Bumrah dedicated his sensational spell of 6/45 to his son, Angad. The Indian pacer also talked about his magical ball to clean up bold Ben Stokes on Day 2.

Well, the second day of the ongoing second Test match was filled with many memorable moments, including Yashasvi Jaiswal's maiden double century, Zak Crawley's impressive counterattack, and Bumrah's outstanding six-wicket haul.

One of the standout moments from Day 2 in Vishakhapatnam was Bumrah's searing yorker that sent Ollie Pope's middle and leg stumps cartwheeling.

Another mind-blowing delivery from Bumrah left the England skipper bewildered, stretching his arms wide in frustration and disbelief at his dismissal.

In a video shared by the BCCI, Jasprit Bumrah said: “I will dedicate this to my son. This is his first tour and he is traveling with me. I am excited to see him.”

The fast bowler expressed his joy at achieving the milestone of 150 Test wickets. However, he stressed that tha team's success is more important to him than his personal achievements.

Bumrah further added, “It felt great at that moment, but I do not want to look at numbers. If the team wins, then the performance matters. At the end of the day, if you contribute to the team's success, there is no better feeling.”

On Ollie Pope’s wicket, the yorker specialist said: “I think that also happened against England (the manner of dismissing Pope). Ollie Pope was my 100th wicket. That was the phase when the ball was reverse-swinging at The Oval. I wanted to bowl a length ball, but I changed my mind and went on to bowl a yorker. The execution was also good. It did swing a lot. Happy with it.”

Bumrah also revealed that he had not planned that magical delivery that stunned Stokes.

He added, “That was one delivery I had not planned. I had bowled an outswinger but the ball did not swing and went straight to the arc.”

The pacer signed off by saying on his love for the Test cricket, “This format is very dear to me. I wanted to do this. I want to play in this format for the longest period of time.”
