In what is a huge blow to the Indian team, two of their star performers KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja will miss the upcoming second Test against England which will be played in Vizag from February 2nd. England won the first Test in Hyderabad by 28 runs to go 1-0 up in a five-Test series.
Ravindra Jadeja had sustained a hamstring injury during play on Day 4 of the first Test in Hyderabad while Rahul complained of right quadriceps pain. The BCCI Medical Team is monitoring the progress of the duo.
Meanwhile, the BCCI stated that in their places, the Men's Selection Committee has added Sarfaraz Khan, Saurabh Kumar, and Washington Sundar to India's squad.
