India and West Indies are currently battling it out in the third ODI at the MCA stadium in Pune. This match comes after the tied ODI at Vizag and Indian team made some changes in the lineup.
Out went Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav and in came Khaleel Ahmed and Jasprit Bumrah, along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
India won the toss and chose to field first, wisely and Windies openers found it difficult to score freely against the wile of Bumrah-Bhuvneshwar. However, Chandrapaul Hemraj looked to break the shackles with two fours and a six over long-on off Bumrah.
However, Bumrah had the last laugh when he got him caught behind by Dhoni. Hemraj mistimed a pull and the ball went to short fine-leg. However, the important fact is the catch by Dhoni, who had run some distance and then dive to catch the ball. The ball somehow stuck in his left glove and Dhoni stood up with a smile on his face.
This catch by Dhoni shows the importance of this man behind the wickets and how fit he is to go after such a catch at full speed.
