
Team India skipper Virat Kohli gave a minor injury scare to the fans as he injured his little finger during catching practice ahead of the first T20I against Sri Lanka.
The first T20I between India and Sri Lanka is less than 24 hours away and the excitement for the first match of the year is high among Indian fans. To scare them just a little bit, skipper Virat Kohli gave them a minor reason to worry during the practice session on the eve of the match.
While doing their routine catching practice, Kohli injured his little finger on the left hand. Team India physio Nitin Patel came running towards him and treated him with magic spray. The incident happened in the first half of the practice session.

The T20I series will see the two Asian countries playing a T20I against each other after a gap of 22 months. Recently, Team India beat West Indies 2-1 at home while the Sri Lankan team is coming off a 0-3 defeat against Australia in Australia. In head-to-head stats, India have won 11 games out of the 16 they have played against their neighbours.
Kohli will lead Team India against the Malinga-led Sri Lankans in a three-match T20I series starting from Sunday at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.
