Opener Rohit Sharma's sensational hundred (117*) put India in a good position at the end of day one of third and final Test in Ranchi.
Earlier India won the toss and opted to bat first but they started off very poorly and lost three wickets for just 39 runs and were in deep trouble but Rohit Sharma (117*) and Ajinkya Rahane (83*) added an unbeaten 185 runs for the fourth wicket brought India back into the game and at stumps India finished their innings on 224/3 with two set batsmen at crease.
