India ended day one on 273/3 with Mayank Agarwal making 108.

Kohli gave a thumbs up to Rabada after his overthrows conceded four extra runs | TwitterThe second Test of the 3-match series between India and South Africa began in Pune on October 10 and saw India gaining a bit of upper hand despite some good bowling from South Africa pacers, especially Kagiso Rabada.

Rabada picked all the three Indian wickets to fall, as India ended the day with 273/3. Mayank Agarwal was the star with 108 runs, while Pujara slammed a fifty; though last match’s hero, Rohit Sharma couldn’t do much this time.

Virat Kohli had gone past his fifty and Rahane partnered with him during the last session of the day’s play, which saw Rabada making a comical mistake and Virat Kohli trolling him for it.

Kohli dabbed a Maharaj delivery in 66th over to offside and set off for a quick single. Rahane obliged and made his ground quite comfortably, however, Rabada, who was stationed at the point, picked the ball and gunned it randomly, where neither the keeper nor the backup fielder could stop it and got four runs on overthrows.

Kohli was ecstatic with what Rabada did and gave emphatic thumbs-up gestures all around the ground as Rabada walked away from the scene with head in a floppy hat.
