India's home season 2019-20 began with a three-match T20I series against South Africa two weeks ago and now both the teams will face off each other in a three-Test series that starts from 2 October in Visakhapatnam.

India has been excellent in Test cricket especially at home for the last 4 years and given their recent form and team strength they should continue to enjoy their good run. This series is also the part of World Test Championship so all Test matches are important for both the sides.

In 2015's home series India beat South Africa by 3-0 while in 2018 away series they lost by 2-1. And now they will look to snatch back the Freedom trophy. Ahead of the series, we're looking at these two teams' Test rivalry in numbers.
