IND v SA 2019: WATCH – Pujara, Rahane and Bumrah prepare for South Africa Test series

India-South Africa Test series begins from October 2.

As the Indian team prepares for the third T20I in Bengaluru with the series 1-0 in their favor. The first T20I was washed out, while South Africa lost the second match at Mohali. South Africa will face off against India in a 3-match Test series starting from October 2nd as well, which will be part of the ICC World Test Championship.

As Rahul Dravid, the head at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), met with the Men in Blue at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, at the neighboring NCA, the players who are not the part of the T20Is were seen preparing for the upcoming Test series. Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Jasprit Bumrah were seen sharpening their skills in anticipation of a tough fight from a new look Proteas side.

Rahane is coming off a very good series against West Indies, where he scored a century in Tests after two years. Bumrah excelled with the red cherry with a six-wicket haul and even picked a Test hat-trick as well. The only batsman who was short of runs was Pujara, and he was seen batting with intensity. BCCI shared a video of the trio doing their training and practice in NCA nets.
