The three-match T20I series between India and New Zealand is all set to get underway on Friday (January 27) at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.

On the eve of the opening T20I, the legendary MS Dhoni came for a surprise visit at the training session of the Hardik Pandya-led Indian side.

In a wholesome video shared by BCCI on Twitter, Dhoni, who lives I Ranchi, can be seen interacting with India’s T20I skipper Hardik and wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan while the likes of Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal also featured in the clip.

Team India are coming into the T20I series after dominating New Zealand in the ODIs. Under Rohit Sharma, the Men in Blue defeated the Kiwis in all games to clinch the 50-over series 3-0. As a result, they attained the No. 1 spot in the ICC ODI team rankings.
