Team India head coach Rahul Dravid and young opener Shubman Gill were involved in an interesting yet amusing interview for the BCCI after the Men in Blue thrashed New Zealand by 90 runs in the final ODI to sweep the three-match ODI series 3-0 on January 24 in Indore.

Well, Dravid and Gill have known each other since the Punjab cricketer’s under-19 days, when the former Indian captain was head coach of the India U19 team that won the 2018 World Cup. Gill was named "Player of the Series" during the ICC U19 World Cup in 2018.

Meanwhile, during the interview, Gill asked Dravid how it felt to enter a dressing room with his name on it, and the head coach gave an honest answer.

Dravid, who is known as one of the most humble and respected sporting personalities in the world, admitted that such gestures flatter him but that sometimes things get a little embarrassing.

Shubman Gill asked Dravid on bcci.tv: “How does it feel to enter the dressing room with your name on it?” To which Dravid replied by saying after a chuckle: “It feels good. You're grateful for all the love I've received over the years from so many people. It's a privilege to play this sport in this country.”

The legendary cricketer added, “The love you receive is phenomenal and I was lucky to have the talent to play cricket and was able to do it for a long time. I also feel a bit embarrassed at times as well. But you do feel very grateful.”
