India and New Zealand clashed in the second ODI of the three-match series which is being played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur on January 21. India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bowl.
Both the teams came into this game with unchanged XIs.
The Indian bowlers were all over the New Zealand batters as they were reduced to 15/5 in 10.3 overs with Mohammad Shami picking two of the wickets. After Shami and Siraj, who also took one wicket, were given a rest after a terrific opening bowling spell, Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandya also got wickets.
Hardik Pandya bowled a decently paced full delivery to Devon Conway, who was looking good despite the carnage around him. Conway punched the ball towards the left of Pandya and expected it to race to the boundary.

However, Pandya in an amazing show of reflexes, got down low on his follow-through and stuck out his left hand and caught the ball inches above the ground, and took a tumble to complete the catch.
It was such an amazing catch that no one realized that Conway had gotten out as Hardik didn’t celebrate his catch.
