Indian cricket team head coach Ravi Shastri is currently a proud man as Team India thrashed England in all three series, Test, T20I and ODI at home to continue their dominance in world cricket.

On Sunday, March 28, Team India led by Virat Kohli crushed England in the thrilling third and final ODI by 7 runs to seal the three-match ODI series 2-1 at Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune.

With the ODI series win, India completed their 5th series win overall since their return to international cricket after COVID-19 enforced break. Earlier, India also won the Test and T20I series against England.

After the thrilling win on Sunday in Pune, Shastri took to Twitter to express his delight over India’s series win over England in all three formats at home.

He tweeted, “Congratulations Guys for holding up and having a season of a lifetime in the toughest of times across all formats and hemispheres against 2 of the best teams in the world. Take a bow.”

Noteworthy, India's dream run began in international cricket began right after the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, as they first lost the three-match ODI series in Australia, but then fought back to seal the T20I series and Test series against the Kangaroos earlier this year.

Then, the Indian cricket team beat England in the Test series at home to qualify for the ICC World Test Championship and then won the T20I and ODI series despite the majority of India players have spent the last 7 months in bio-secure bubbles barring a week break after the Australia tour.
