Rishabh Pant | GettyPlaying his first 50-over game for India after more than a year, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant left everyone in awe with his scintillating batting display in the second ODI against England at MCA Stadium, Pune on Friday (March 26).

Pant, who came into the playing XI after Shreyas Iyer got ruled out with a shoulder injury, took the English bowling attack to the cleaners after arriving in the middle during the 32nd over of India’s innings.

Despite being criticized for his over attacking approach in white-ball cricket, Pant started the onslaught from the word go. The southpaw dominated the partnership of 113 runs he had with KL Rahul (108 off 114 balls) for the sixth wicket.
