Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer took to his Twitter handle and trolled the picture posted by Ravi Shastri by saying that the Indian wicketkeepers have always been reliable babysitters.
After clinching the Test and T20I series against England by the margin of 3-1 and 3-2 respectively, Team India had a great start to the ODI series as they beat visitors by 66 runs to take 1-0 lead in a three-match ODI series.
After having a fantastic victory in the first ODI Team India had a great day off as they relaxed in the hotel by partying on the poolside. Many players including head coach Ravi Shastri shared the picture of Team India chilling out together.
Shastri took to his Twitter handle and shared a picture of him spending some good time with the players.
In a picture posted by Indian head coach, he can been seen posing with India players Krunal Pandya, Shardul Thakur, Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya.
While Kl Rahul can be seen standing a bit away from his teammates, holding the son of Hardik Pandya, Agastya Pandya in his arms.
"The pack that stays together. Bubble or no bubble. Results will come and go for others to follow. Great day in lovely Pune," Ravi Shastri captioned the picture.
Noticing about KL Rahul holding Hardik’s son, Wasim Jaffer reacted to picture posted by Ravi Shastri by saying that the Indian wicketkeepers have always been reliable babysitters.
With this statement, Jaffer recalled the incident of banter between Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant and Australian Test skipper Tim Paine during India's 2018-19 tour of Australia. Stump microphones had caught Paine sledging Pant by asking the Indian keeper to babysit his children.
“See KL holding baby Agastya there. Indian WK bats are always reliable babysitters #INDvsENG” Wasim Jaffer Tweeted.
