Prasidh Krishna has on Tuesday (March 23) made a dream debut for India in the opening ODI of the three-match ODI series against England at Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune.
The tall and lanky bowler has impressed one and all with his remarkable yet record-breaking performance on his debut against England in Pune.
He registered best-ever bowling figures (8.1-1-54-4) on debut in ODI cricket for India to help the hosts to beat England by 66 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the ongoing three-match ODI series on Tuesday.
During the course of his match-winning spell, the 25-year-old leaked as many as 37 runs in his first 3 overs but returned with a bang in the 15th over, as he broke the 135-run opening stand between Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow by dismissing the latter and then took the crucial wicket of Ben Stokes to shift the momentum of the game completely in India's favor.

The Karnataka speedster dismissed Sam Billings in his third spell in the 33rd over of England’s innings and the Moeen Ali to complete his record spell to help India win the game by 66 runs in Pune.
For his incredible efforts with the ball on debut, Krishna was named the Game Changers of the Match and he took to Twitter to express his delight on his show in the “special” match while describing his first day at the office as a roller coaster ride.
He wrote on Twitter, “My first day at work was a roller coaster ride. Never over until it’s over. All’s well that ends well. Cheers to this special match and many more to come. #TeamIndia #234”
Following his match-winning efforts in his debut, the pacer would be certainly expecting to play in the second ODI on March 26 against England at the same venue in Pune.
